Alexandru Ciucu is a Romanian menswear fashion designer.

In his family the suit is a three-generation tradition, and his first ‘date’ with tailoring art is owed to his grandmother, who began this trade in 1939. She handed it down to his father, who began his career working in the factory known under the name of APACA, getting specialized in manufacturing men’s suits.

In 2000, the father and son they set up together “TATA &fiul” which is today a successful brand. In 2006 he opened a bespoke tailoring atelier bearing his name. To improve his skills, he attended in 2007 the courses of Istituto Marangoni in Milano.

He believes that one of the most refined expressions of male clothing style is the design of the famous bespoke suits and in his Atelier he pays the utmost attention to details, from fabrics to the final accessories.
